Legendary blues musicians on this week's blues show!

This Saturday night, 9/13, at 11pm on The Blues, the show will begin with legendary guitarist Albert King, followed by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cream and the Allman Brothers.  The second set features blues vocalists Etta James and Cyndi Lauper, then from Louisiana Sonny Landreth, and BB King at the end of the set with some help from Mark Knopfler.  The final set starts with Hugh Laurie's New Orleans album, and one of my favorite songs from "Let Them Talk,"  the tune "Baby, Please Make a Change" with vocals by Sir Tom Jones and Irma Thomas.  That's followed by the late/great local saxophonist Jimmy McGary's "See See Rider" and Johnny Adams, "Scarred Knees."
