The All-Star Game celebration goes into high gear on TV tonight with WCPO-TV’s one-hour “9 On Your Side’s Guide To All-Star Week” (7 p.m., Channel 9) and Fox Sports Ohio’s first “All-Star Live” telecast from FanFest (6 p.m.) in the Duke Energy Convention Center.

Channel 9 has been designated “an official television-sponsor of the 2015 MLB All Star Week,” says Jeff Brogan, vice president and general manager.

“Our newscasts will originate from two areas of the Banks starting Thursday evening,” Brogan said.

Channel 9’s “Good Morning Tri-State” also will have live reports Monday and Tuesday from the “Mike and Mike” show at the Moerlein Lager House. Hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will be broadcasting live 6-10 a.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN Radio, which are owned by the ABC network aired by Channel 9.

Expect to get your first look inside FanFest on TV news tonight, following the media preview at the convention center today. FanFest opens at 9 a.m. Friday through Tuesday. FSO has built a huge elevated stage in the east end of convention center overlooking FanFest.

Fox affiliate WXIX-TV (Channel 19) airs a local special Tuesday from 3 p.m. to the start of Fox’s All-Star Game telecast. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 19.

WLWT-TV (Channel 5) will air “Cincinnati’s All-Star Celebration” 7-8 p.m. Tuesday – which means the second half of the special airs opposite the All-Star Game itself.
