New President And CEO for St. Elizabeth Healthcare

The interim President and CEO of St. Elizabeth Healthcare will now officially fill the role.  Garren Colvin has been named to the position. 

Colvin has been with St. Elizabeth for 32 years.  "We conducted a very inclusive search to ensure St. Elizabeth and our community had the right candidate to lead our organization and enhance healthcare in our region long into the future,” said Board Chairman Jim Votruba, who led the search process. “We had some outstanding candidates, but in the end it came down to having a proven and trusted leader who can move our team forward, adapt to change, inspire through innovation, and take our organization to the next level. Garren is that trusted leader," Votruba said in a press release.

Colvin started at St. Elizabeth as a co-op student in 1983 and has served in several positions since then. 

Colivn was raised in Northern Kentucky attended Ludlow High School and Thomas More College. 

Maryanne Zeleznik is responsible for all news and public affairs programming at WVXU. She also hosts Morning Edition Monday through Friday.
