Northern Kentucky University professor Banwari Mittal talked with more than 500 people across 30 states and 50 cities to find people's ideas and feelings about what it means to be happy. He posed the same five questions to each, and found a broad range of interpretations.
The questions centered around money, life, purpose and happiness, and the new book, 50 Faces of Happy, is the result of more than four dozen selected conversations. Mittal, whose teaches marketing at NKU, says the answers of those featured in the book "offer a fascinating widow into their views on life and work, their aspirations, and their sources of happiness."
Mittal joined Cincinnati Edition to talk about the book and his experience talking with so many people across the country.
Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
