ODOT schedules public meetings on Oasis Rail

The Ohio Department of Transportation is holding three meetings this week to provide updates on the development of Greater Cincinnati's first commuter rail line.  ODOT will also be gathering input from the public about the the Oasis Rail Transit project. 

Here's the schedule of meetings:

  • Tuesday from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., R.G. Cribbett Center, 5903 Hawthorne Avenue, Fairfax.
  • Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Taft Center at Fountain Square, 425 Walnut Street, Cincinnati  (US Bank Building, 2nd floor).
  • Wednesday from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., Miami Township Civic Center, 6007 Meijer Drive, Milford.

Oasis Rail Transit is part of the Eastern Corridor Program.  It would provide a new public transportation option that would serve communities extending east from downtown Cincinnati, through Hamilton County and into western Clermont County.
