Outreach Program Encourages Kids To Enjoy The Arts

Around 1,500 students danced together on the great lawn in front of Music Hall.

Third grade students from across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky gathered in Washington Park Wednesday to dance, sing, and enjoy the arts. Here's a brief pictorial essay of the event.

Cincy Dance! was sponsored by the Cincinnati Ballet. Education and Outreach Director Julie Sunderland says "Our goal is to share the importance of healthy behaviors with kids, using dance and ballet as the vehicle."

The Kung Fu demonstration by the Blue Ash Shaolin Do was popular with the kids, who squealed with delight throughout.
