Pompeii Revealed

Provided, University of Cincinnati
Dr Steven Ellis at the Pompeii archaeology site.

NOTE: This interview originally aired March 7, 2014.

University of Cincinnati Associate Professor and Roman Archeologist Dr. Steven Ellis directs the Pompeii Archaeological Research Project: Porta Stabia and co-directs the Pompeii Quadriporticus Project. He and his team have uncovered details of the lives, and diets, of the people who lived in the ancient city. The rich ate flamingos, the poor at gruel. Dr. Ellis joins us to share that and other discoveries. For more information about archeology, check out the Archeology Institute of America.
