Preserving the Past while Building the Future

  

When most of us think of archeologists, we picture scientists working digs in far-off places, Egypt, Greece, or Italy, looking for ancient artifacts. But from the renovation of Washington Park to planning alternate routes for a Brent Spence Bridge replacement and the construction of The Banks, the cultural resources management firm of Gray & Pape has been called in to determine the historical significance of the area, and to preserve the past, so the future can begin. Gray & Pape founder Kevin Pape, Principal Investigator for History and Architecture Jennifer Mastri Burden, and Outreach Coordinator Jai Washington discuss the various archeological and historic preservation services the firm provides.
