Saving for your child's college - we look at some of the options available, including the 529 plan

The current national average cost of attending a four-year public college is more than $28,000 per year; for a four-year private college that yearly price tag is now over $59,000. And those costs will continue to rise. 

There are many ways to help pay for college, including grants, scholarships, work-study and loans, but parents should consider saving for their kid's? future college costs early on.
