Ohio Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown has introduced a new bill to eliminate certain overdraft fees.

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown is calling out President Donald Trump for his role in the federal government shut down saying it’s time for the presidents to realize he made a promise on the border wall that he couldn’t keep.

During his campaign rallies in Ohio, President Donald Trump supporters begin by breaking into chants of “build the wall.”

Brown acknowledges that chant has evolved into a big political talking point for Trump. However he says the majority of Ohioans still think the border wall isn’t an effective security resource.

“While they were chanting ‘build the wall’ they were also chanting, when the president said who will pay for it, they chanted ‘Mexico’ so the president has already broken the promise," says Brown.

Brown says Congress can pass a budget that pumps more money and resources to the border, but Trump needs to sign it. Trump has insisted that the only way to keep Americans safe is to build a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.
