Sexual Abuse Allegations Within City Agencies

Wikimedia Commons
The #MeToo movement has empowered local women to come forward about sexual abuse.

Empowered by the growing #MeToo movement, hundreds of women, and men, have come forward and spoken out about sexual abuse they've suffered. Reporters and editors at The Cincinnati Enquirer have been investigating several allegations of sexual misconduct that have taken place locally.

They found that over the past five years a dozen Cincinnati employees were accused of sexual harassment while on the job at city agencies, including the Cincinnati Police Department.

Joining us to discuss these sexual misconduct cases and how city leadership is responding to them are Cincinnati Enquirer Higher Education reporter Kate Murphy and Hamilton County reporter Dan Horn; and Cincinnati Vice Mayor Christopher Smitherman.
