What do the results of the midterm election really mean?

After what seemed like a never-ending flow of campaign ads and political punditry, for some the party is finally over, and for others, it?'s just getting started. Republicans won control of Congress, Mitch McConnell is almost sure to be the next Senate majority leader, Ohio Governor John Kasich easily sailed to re-election as the GOP won a majority of state governorships. And voters in the District of Columbia voted to legalize recreational marijuana. So now what?

Here to provide some thoughtful analysis on Tuesday'?s results are Political Junkie Ken Rudin; Dr. Gene Beaupre, Xavier University assistant director for Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Honors Program and director for Government Relations; Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau reporter Andy Chow; Scott Wartman, Kentucky Politics and Government reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer; and WVXU Political Reporter Howard Wilkinson.
