For now, SkyStar has extended its stay at The Banks until June of this year.

The relationship between Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is one of friendship, collaboration and sometimes, complicated rivalry. Soon, that rivalry could include dueling Ferris wheel attractions on both sides of the Ohio River.

Will that test us in a new, whimsical way? We talk to the companies hoping to bring permanent attractions to town, as well as local officials from both sides of the river.

Joining Cincinnati Edition for a look at the relationship between Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are Cincinnati City Council Member David Mann; the mayor of Dayton, Ky., Ben Baker; Northern Kentucky Chamber President Brent Cooper; and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Brendon Cull.

Tune in to Cincinnati Edition Feb. 4 at noon to hear this segment.

Michael Monks brings a broad range of experience to WVXU-FM as the host of Cincinnati Edition, Cincinnati Public Radio's weekday news and information talk show.
