World's Longest Yard Sale cuts through Tri-State

The World's Longest Yard Sale is underway and it runs straight through the Tri-State.

The sale spans 690 miles along US 127 from Addison, Michigan to Gadsden, Alabama.

In Covington, venders line MainStrasse Village with everything from antiques and housewares to jewelry, records, and vintage clothing.

Diana Durham has a small stand with chairs and lots of cookware. She says business is good and she's having a lot of fun. She's visited before but this is her first year as a seller. What prompted the change?

"My storage bin was full," she laughs. "And I've always enjoyed coming here."

The sale started back in 1987 and has continued to grow. It runs through Sunday.
