Wright-Patt Medical Center issues prescription warning

Some patients who had prescriptions filled at the Kittyhawk Satellite Pharmacy may have received the wrong medications.

Officials at the Wright-Patt Medical Center are notifying patients who had prescriptions filled from April 23 - 29 that they may have been given the wrong medicines or the wrong mixture of medicines.

A release states technical difficulties were discovered which may have affected prescription accuracy.

Anyone who had a prescription filled during the aforementioned time period is asked "to bring their prescriptions to the Wright-Patt Medical Center Information Desk located near the main entrance between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m." to be checked for accuracy and exchanged if necessary.

A phone line has been set up for anyone with questions or concerns. The number is 937 257-9022.  It will be staffed between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
