Earlier this year, 25 highly-respected educators from the United States and Canada were selected as 2014 Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic Education Grosvenor Teacher Fellows. The Fellows take expeditions to locations such as Iceland, Greenland and Antarctica, sailing aboard the ship National Geographic Explorer, for hands-on experience, professional development, and what most would say is a trip of a lifetime. Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens' Lead Education Program Developer Sarah Navarro was among that select group of 25 - last month she sailed aboard the National Geographic Explorer to the Canadian Maritimes, and she joins us to share highlights of her expedition.
