Around Cincinnati

Sundays at 7 PM

Greater Cincinnati has a vibrant arts scene, and Around Cincinnati has been bringing you local, regional and national guests weekly on Sunday evenings from 7-8pm for the past 15 years.  Local contributors and their guests have explored a wide range of subjects including books & poetry, art exhibitions, theatre & dance productions, musicians, artists, and concerts.

So, it is with great sadness that we share this message that our last show will air on Sunday, August 23rd. The programs during July will be filled with our regular informative interviews, and those in August will be some of our favorites from the archives as well as bucket-list interviews.

Some of the contributors include John Kiesewetter, Oakley Scot, Rick Pender, Anne Arenstein, Jim Stump, Roberta Schultz, David Delegator, Barbara Gray, Ron Esposito, Stuart Holman, Yemi Oyediran, Victor Paruta and Kelly Blewett.  Brian O'Donnell, Suzanne Bona, Howard Wilkinson, Andy Ellis, Elaine Diehl, and Jim Nolan, staff members of Cincinnati Public Radio, also help out.

Thank you for all your support over the years.  We hope you've learned something about the wonderful arts community and enjoyed the shows.   Lee Hay, Producer/Host of Around Cincinnati, at Lhay@wvxu.org.

Curious about a piece of music you heard on Around Cincinnati? You can find more information on the Around Cincinnati playlist. Our theme music is courtesy of the Phil DeGreg Trio from their release, Table for Three.
