Chamber Music Cincinnati is kicking off its new season by presenting an evening with the Emerson String Quartet at Memorial Hall on Monday, October 21.   One of the world’'s great sopranos, Dawn Upshaw, last performed in town as Margarita, a role written for her, in the Cincinnati Opera’'s 2009 production of Ainadamar. She comes back to Cincinnati on Tuesday, September 23, to perform with pianist Gilbert Kalish to open Chamber Music Cincinnati’'s 85th season at CCM’s Corbett Auditorium. The Grammy award-winner joins us by phone.
