The wrath of Donald Trump is something fearsome to behold.

Especially when one of his fellow Republicans tries to burst the bubble of the fictional scenario inside his head that tells him he somehow won re-election and will be sworn into office for a second term on Jan. 20.

Wrath so awesome it can make grown Republican officeholders quake in fear and scramble to reassure him that Joe Biden is not the president-elect.

Another election is in the books, and while counties around Ohio are still finishing off their official canvass, the results really aren’t in doubt: It was a great cycle for Republicans.

President-elect Joe Biden won his race to the White House without carrying the state of Ohio. That means for the first time in 60 years, the state didn't help pick the president. It also leaves Ohio with millions of voters wishing the election had gone the other way.

Democrat Joe Biden has secured the 270 Electoral College votes he needed to win the U.S. presidency, AP has reported, which makes this election the first time in 60 years that Ohio failed to choose the winner.

As other states continue to tally the votes in the presidential race, President Donald Trump is making unfounded statements about widespread fraud that other leaders say undermines the election process. Ohio leaders have mixed responses to Trump's claims.

Election Day is over but for election workers, the hard task of ensuring the vote went off without a hitch will likely go on until mid-December. In Hamilton County, officials looked into reports of malfeasance and are still counting votes.

There have been reports of voter intimidation and people voting more than once. Investigations into the claims did not pan out any concrete proof of either.

Elections officials around Ohio are still sorting out a few final ballots trickling in through the mail, but one outcome is certain: President Donald Trump won Ohio by about the same 8-point margin he got in 2016.

Donald Trump won Ohio again Tuesday, but Hamilton County was a deep blue holdout.

Democrats won all the races for county offices except prosecutor, along with an astounding nine of 13 judgeships - where party designations were not on the ballot.

In a year where an election and a pandemic are taking place, political divisions have been growing during a stressful time for many Americans.

A class at Northern Kentucky University looked to change that with a podcast. Six students meet every week over Zoom to discuss the current political climate despite their differing beliefs and a generation gap.

A bombshell op-ed in The New York Times, followed by the book, A Warning, were both stunning rebukes of the Trump administration from within.

As always, the Ohio ballot features the presidential and Congressional races at the top, and next up are those for the state legislature. The entire Ohio House and half the Senate, both of which are controlled by Republicans, are up this year, as the presidential race is close.

Election Day is nearing. Here's one scenario that could play out: Just as Hillary Clinton did in 2016, Former Vice President Joe Biden wins the popular vote, but still fails to become the 46th president. That has happened two times in the past 20 years, due to the Electoral College.

Way down at the bottom of the Ohio ballot are two important races – two seats on the Ohio Supreme Court. These are non-partisan races on the ballot, but there are differences between the Republican incumbents and their Democratic challengers.
