This week's blues show, Saturday evening, March 7th at 11pm, starts off with Eric Bibb, Prince, Nina Simone, and Ann Chamberlain & Eddie Morgan.  The second set includes music by Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Tommy Castro, the Allman Brothers Band, and ends with Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi.  And the show ends with songs by Robert Plant & Lil' Band o' Gold, Tom Waits, Ken Nordine, Terence Blanchard, and the Blind Boys of Alabama.

This week's blues show begins with a song by Eric Bibb, "Like Aretha Loves to Sing."  He's on tour in the United Kingdom this month.  And, Aretha Franklin is coming to Cincinnati to perform with the Cincinnati Pops at Riverbend this summer on July 24th.  That's a must-see performance by a music legend!

This week on the Blues we'll start off with a song by Corey Harris & Henry Butler, "There's No Substitute for Love" from their Alligator release "vu-du menz."  This is followed by Taj Mahal and Tony Joe White.

The second set features Amos Lee, Van Morrison/Tom Jones, Garland Jeffreys, and Michael McDonald.  Michael McDonald has been nominated to be inducted into the 2016 Songwriters Hall of Fame.
