Popular local musicians Robin and Joani Lacy will celebrate 30 years of their band, Robin Lacy & DeZydeco, with a concert benefitting Play It Forward on June 9 at Southgate House Revival. They are in the studio with Brian O'Donnell to talk about the history of the band and how they've kept it going all these years.

Joani Lacy has written a wonderful new children's book entitled, "Jack and Remy's Bayou Band," with illustrations by Debbie Kern.  They have a booksigning at Joseph Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Commons this Thursday, November 1st at 6pm.  Here's a link to Brian O'Donnell's interview with them in WVXU's studio on September 20th.  Their book's also getting some love in New Orleans!

Longtime local musician Joani Lacy is finding additional success as an author. Her latest is a children's book, Jack and Remy's Bayou Band, which was illustrated by Debbi Kern.
