Walt Harrell

The holidays are upon us, and therefore, lots of related events like Price Hill Will's "Holiday on the Hill,"  the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Nutter Center, Saengerfest 2018, and tickets going on sale for the Boar's Head & Yule Log Festival.

A film documentary, "Free to Rock," will be shown at UC's Main Street Cinema on campus Friday, November 30th at 1pm.  Doug Yeager, one of the filmmakers, will be in attendance and also participate in the question & answer session afterwards.

And, sadly, Walt Harrell, "Bunky Tadwell," one of WNOP's on-air personalities, passed away recently.  His funeral will be held this Saturday, December 1st in Delhi at the Dennis George Funeral Home.

In Cleves, Walter W. Harrell was also known as "Finn" during and after his service as a village councilman  and Miami Township trustee.

To listeners of WNOP-AM, Newport's "Jazz Ark," which floated on the Ohio River in the 1970s, he was DJ Bunky Tadwell.
