Come and enjoy the gardens of the Northern Historic District of Lebanon, Ohio. The homes are close enough that you can easily walk to the featured gardens. Several of the homes on this year’s garden tour are older homes with an interesting history accentuated by the beautiful gardens surrounding them. This year we will be featuring 5 private gardens with bonus walk by “Sites of Interest” located near the featured gardens. A scavenger hunt is included, which highlights a special feature of each garden. Those participating in the scavenger hunt have an opportunity for a chance to win a prize. The gardeners are on hand to answer questions and share gardening tips. Come and be inspired to beautify your own outdoor living spaces. The tour is 11 am to 5 pm each day and begins at the Lebanon Train Station. This is a self-guided Walking Tour so be sure to wear your walking shoes! Maps and directions are given the days of the tour at the Lebanon Train Station (198 S. Broadway) which was built by the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. All proceeds go to the maintenance and beautification of the Station and grounds. Plan to spend the day or a few hours, but save some time to eat at one of our local eateries and shop our quaint downtown shops. Rain or Shine.
