“Great Eclipse in the Sky Watch Party” and Solar Eclipse Glasses Sale benefiting the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. This unique event, aimed at combining the thrill of celestial observation with community support, is on April 8 from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Schmidlapp Event Lawn, adjacent to Moerlein Lager House and Smale Riverfront Park.
Attendees of Moerlein Lager House’s Great Eclipse in the Sky Party will experience:
- Solar eclipse-themed food and beverage featuring specially crafted cocktails.
- A curated music soundtrack to enhance the eclipse ambiance.
- En plein air artists creating celestial masterpieces on-site, with finished artwork available for purchase.
- An educational solar system presentation taking place on the Schmidlapp Event Lawn stage at 12:15 pm.

Solar eclipse glasses are available for sale now and can be picked up anytime leading up to and day of the event at Moerlein Lager House. Proceeds from the sale of the eclipse glasses will be donated to the Cincinnati Parks Foundation to benefit Cincinnati Parks.
