In 2020, she was named Cincinnati Citybeat’s Best Comedian, and in 2022, she became the first standup comedian ever to be an Artist In Residence at Acadia National Park, making history in the National Parks.

Kelly’s festival credits are extensive, having performed at the prestigious Limestone Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Gilda’s Laughfest (Best of the Midwest showcase), and The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. She also performed at the Big Sky Comedy Festival, one of the top festivals in the industry. Kelly headlined the Super Dope Comedy Festival in 2019 and returned to headline the Limestone Comedy Festival in 2023.

As a versatile performer, Kelly has also served as a featured emcee and storyteller. She has emceed for the Cincinnati Reds and been a storyteller for USA Today’s Storyteller Project on two occasions. Her passion for activism shines through in her work, as she was a featured speaker at the Ohio Women’s March.

From national festivals to groundbreaking achievements, Kelly’s sharp wit, infectious energy, and unique perspective continue to captivate audiences everywhere.

Kelly's writing has been published for Bust Magazine. In 2016 she wrote, produced and directed a parody play called "Reservoir Dames". This all-female adaptation of "Reservoir Dogs" sold out and gained national attention. Her original play “Bloody Mary” (a horror comedy) debuted at the Know Theatre in 2020. She also wrote a children’s book titled, You Are Actually Quite Small, for kids and parents with anxiety.

Commonwealth Comedy Club is Cincinnati’s home for exquisitely curated live entertainment. Each week we bring you hilarious stand-up comedians, intimate concerts, unique theater productions, live podcast recordings, and so much more.

Commonwealth Comedy Club is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews.

We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as many canned drinks, including cocktails. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as well as a complete broadcast-quality video system for recording events and live podcasts. We are exclusively partnered with Third Rule Media to produce our recorded content.
