One Night One Craft: Dyeing Scarves
This workshop explores Natural Indigo Dyeing and the Japanese textile practice of Shibori by creating custom silk scarves. Learn the global art history of the color blue and take home a recipe for making their own natural indigo vat. Participants will practice multiple folding and binding methods while making their own indigo dyed scarves. All supplies are included in the ticket cost, plus, a holiday cocktail.
