Queen City Freedom Band Presents "Homecoming" Cincinnati's Pride Band honors Jim Obergefell and Russ Zokaites
In their upcoming concert titled Homecoming, The Queen City Freedom Band (QCFB) is honoring Jim Obergefell with the Cincinnati premiere of John and Jim, a musical piece commissioned by QCFB and the Pride Band Alliance honoring Jim Obergefell and his late husband, John Arthur, and their landmark Supreme Court case, Obergefell v. Hodges, that brought marriage equality to the United States in 2015. The concert also pays homage to Dr. Russ Zokaites, who will be in attendance as a guest soloist on two pieces.
