Hear ye, hear ye! The Emperor cometh this way...

Join us on Saturday, September 16th from 4:00 - 7:00pm at the Virginia Avenue Park in Hamilton, OH for the debut of The Emperor's New Quilt - a monumental public art project. Drawing inspiration from The Names Project of 1987, this exhibition of The Emperor's New Quilt serves as a public memorial service to the victims of the COVID-19 inoculations, honoring their lives and their sacrifices.

Artist Talk will begin at 4:30pm with reception to follow. Please bring chairs or blankets for seating during the artist talk.

About the artist:

Gabrielle Roach is a contemporary, interdisciplinary artist living in Cincinnati, OH. She received her BFA from Indiana State University in 2014 and her Master’s in Fine Arts from Miami University in 2017. Gabi has been included in various group and solo exhibitions including Where are we, 2022 and Somewhere in Space-time, 2021. She currently works as the Arts & Programming Coordinator at PAR-Projects in Northside, Cincinnati.
