Amber Hunt, the consumer advocate reporter from the Enquirer, talks scams & cons

Con artists preying on the unwary are nothing new, and bogus door-to-door salesmen and service providers still work their scams in neighborhoods across the country. But the internet, email and cell phones have provided criminals with much more power to cheat far more people. Last spring The Cincinnati Enquirer partnered with Call For Action, an international nonprofit network of consumer hotlines, to help people in our area resolve problems they are having with a business, government or other organizations. Amber Hunt, consumer advocate reporter with The Cincinnati Enquirer joins us to discuss the paper?'s watchdog efforts and some of the more common scams and frauds to be aware of.
