The billionaire said it was a "mistake" for the social network to ban the former president after the Jan. 6th Capitol insurrection.

The social media site was blocked in the runup to last Sunday's local elections, but the ban was deemed a breach of free expression and ordered reversed.

Yoel Roth was a top executive at Twitter, until he resigned in early November. He says people need to "very thoughtfully and carefully weigh the costs and benefits of using Twitter."

Jofi Joseph, who worked on issues related to nuclear non-proliferation, was tweeting as @natsecwonk. The posts included insulting comments about other administration officials and politicians from both parties. They were also critical of policies he was helping develop. Joseph is now out of a job.

City officials say replacing letters or symbols on buildings requires a permit for design and safety reasons. The installation is part of Elon Musk's effort to rebrand the social media platform.
