According to the American Liver Foundation, there were 11,458 liver transplants in the U.S. in 2024, with 604 of those donations coming from living donors. Partial liver transplants occur when a healthy adult removes part of their liver and gives it to someone whose liver is no longer functioning properly.

Guests:
- Alexander Bondoc, MD, surgical director of liver and intestinal transplantation, Cincinnati Children’s
- Amanda Graham, partial liver transplant living donor
