Cincinnati's No Promises Vocal Band is ready to kick off their schedule of Christmas performances around the area. Members Nat Comisar, Josh Steele, and David Baum, along with the other five members of the group, join Elaine Diehl in our Corbett Studio for a conversation about singing, choosing songs for this tour, and a performance of Joni Mitchell's "River."

The 14th Annual Around Cincinnati Christmas Special, produced and hosted by Lee Hay. features a wide range of local musicians and others celebrating the season in song and word.

Christmas carols are generally heard and listened to for 4 to 6 weeks each holiday then go away for a year.

Cincinnati's Vocal Arts Ensemble will present its traditional Candlelit Christmas concert at Memorial Hall on December 15 and 16. 

He is best-known as lead singer and merrymaker-in-chief for Cincinnati rockers The Menus, but Tim Goldrainer is equally at home with Sinatra, Martin, Crosby and Nat King Cole in his other band, Curly & the Q-Balls

A holiday tradition continues when the 13th Annual Around Cincinnati special airs Christmas Eve at 7pm. Producer/host Lee Hay has assembled a full hour of great music and stories.
