Donahue's widow, Marlo Thomas, unveiled a historical marker honoring her husband at Dayton’s WDTN-TV, where he started his groundbreaking daytime talk show.

Dayton suburb of Moraine will unveil a marker Sept. 14 at the TV station where the nationally syndicated show was first produced.

Donahue, who hosted a groundbreaking daytime show for 29 years, died Sunday at age 88.
