The end of November will bring the traditional visit by holiday favorites, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, for two performances at both U.S. Bank Arena (November 29) and Dayton's Nutter Center (November 30.) Drummer and original member Jeff Plate previews this year's concert in a conversation with host Lee Hay.

The holidays are upon us, and therefore, lots of related events like Price Hill Will's "Holiday on the Hill,"  the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Nutter Center, Saengerfest 2018, and tickets going on sale for the Boar's Head & Yule Log Festival.

A film documentary, "Free to Rock," will be shown at UC's Main Street Cinema on campus Friday, November 30th at 1pm.  Doug Yeager, one of the filmmakers, will be in attendance and also participate in the question & answer session afterwards.

And, sadly, Walt Harrell, "Bunky Tadwell," one of WNOP's on-air personalities, passed away recently.  His funeral will be held this Saturday, December 1st in Delhi at the Dennis George Funeral Home.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is bringing their classic holiday rock opera to Cincinnati's US Bank Arena for two shows on Thursday, December 21st.  Their lead guitarist, Joel Hoekstra, who's been with them since 2010, recently spoke by phone with Elaine Diehl about TSO and some of his other musical projects.
