Could maternity and childlessness share a common bond? Two local authors explore how these roles in our society may be changing in tandem. How can the past inform our present knowledge of living with, and without, children?

Sarah Knott, author of Mother is a Verb: An Unconventional History, and Rachel Chrastil, author of How to Be Childless: A History and Philosophy of Life Without Children, speak together on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The event is at 4:30 p.m. at Xavier University's Kennedy Auditorium.

Indiana University Associate Professor of History Sarah Knott and Xavier University Professor of History Rachel Chrastil, Ph.D. join Cincinnati Edition to discuss their books.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
