Ars Perpetuum Concert, Italian Canzoni of the Early Baroque
Ars Perpetuum brings you music you might have heard living in Italy around the year 1630, for Baroque Harp, Bass and Tenor Sackbuts, Cornetto and Recorders, all played on period instruments. This program will feature instrumental Canzoni by Girolamo Frescobaldi, Bartolome de Selma y Salaverde, as well as works by Giovanni Cima, Giovanni Cesare and others. Elizabeth Motter on Triple Harp, Sean McGhee on Bass and Tenor Sackbuts, and Sam Motter on Cornetto and Recorder bring you the music of the exciting and transitional early Baroque!
