In this art class for the preschool set (ages 2-4), we will read and explore a different picture book each week and then make our own art inspired by the story using a variety of materials. Dress to allow for a mess! Grownups must stay with their young artists during the class.
All classes take place at The Upside Brew (329 Ludlow Avenue): arrive early to purchase coffee before class begins!

Working In Neighborhoods' HUD-certified Virtual Homebuyer Training Classes are held over Zoom over three consecutive Tuesday evenings (10/7, 10/14 & 10/21) from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. You must have the internet and the ability to access Zoom to participate. Topics include: home inspections, lenders and loans, homeowners insurance, budgeting and money management, and realtors. You must attend all three sessions in the same series to receive your certificate. Registration can be completed online or by phone through Friday, October 3rd.

The Under One Roof Sukkah Art Exhibit is displayed in a temporary sukkah in the Mayerson JCC courtyard from October 7 – 23. During the fall display dates, a variety of events take place to celebrate community, art, and conversation. Contribute to the annual Under One Roof community art exhibit by being a part of the art, creating and contributing artwork designed by your organization, group, or individually.
Multimedia panels from nearly fifty community participants exploring this year’s theme, Unity, will be highlighted.
Under One Roof is made possible by presenting partner Rockwern Charitable Foundation. This program is funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati.
*Sukkot is the Jewish festival giving thanks for the fall harvest. It also commemorates the 40 years of the Israelites wandering in the desert after Sinai. It is also the Hebrew word for the temporary structures built to celebrate the holiday.
If you're looking for a fun and unique autumn activity, come to our Pumpkin Blow! With help from our professional glassblowers and at t $55 per person, you will get to make your own pumpkin from hot molten glass! Everyone must be 5 years or older to participate. It's scheduled in 30 minute increments per person and reservations are required. Payment is also required at scheduling. Pumpkins will be ready for pickup in 7 days and shipping is also available.
