A secret shared. A community tested.
What does community mean? And what do we owe to one another? In a town running low on compassion, a mysterious outsider stands before their community—before us—to confess a life-altering choice made at the crossroads of desperation and desire. A gripping blend of fable and modern-day storytelling, this stirring, poetic solo piece invites the audience to become part of the story, weighing mercy against consequence in real time. Where We Stand explores the story of an individual driven to the brink, challenging our understanding of forgiveness, mercy, and who is truly worthy of either.

Studio Kroner is honored to present “The Art of John Agnew”, a rare opportunity to experience the work of Cincinnati-based naturalist and artist John Agnew.
> Opening Reception: Thursday, October 30 | 6–9 pm
> Artist Talk: Saturday, November 8 | 1–2 pm
> Closing Reception: Saturday, November 29 | 1–4 pm
John Agnew has spent a lifetime exploring the beauty and complexity of the natural world. With a background in museum curation and exhibit design, his murals and dioramas can be found in institutions from the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History to the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences—and even as far as Moscow.
Agnew now focuses on fine art, primarily in scratchboard and plein air painting. His art merges scientific precision with expressive composition, influenced by 19th-century zoological engravings and his mother’s abstract expressionism. Through this unique lens, he shines a light on our world's overlooked and often “unloved” creatures, showing that every species is worthy of respect and admiration.
His work has been exhibited internationally, published in books and magazines, and featured in U.S. embassies abroad. This exhibition at Studio Kroner offers an intimate look into Agnew’s artistic journey—where science, nature, and creativity converge.
Join us to celebrate a master observer of nature and his extraordinary ability to reveal the dignity in every corner of the living world.
