Porsche will display its 919 Hybrid LeMans Challenger race car for the first time in the United States at Cincinnati's Concours d'Elegance Sunday, June 8. This "show car" (without an engine) will give car enthusiasts a glimpse of the vehicle that will race at the World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans June 14.
The car manufacturer last showed off the sports car at the 2014 Geneva, Switzerland Motor Show.

The prototype:
- is a 2.0 liter V4
- a small capacity gasoline engine with Lithium battery power
- most complex race car Porsche has ever built
- two different engine recovery systems harness energy to replenish the batteries and provide power
- a new Porsche team of 200 people was assembled to develop it
The June 8 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with parking at 3650 Redband Road with shuttle service to Ault Park every 15 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
