Scientists have yet to find any scrap of evidence for extraterrestrial life. But author Jaime Green writes that the idea we might be alone in the galaxy is a relatively new one. The aliens we dreamt up in "Star Trek" and "A Wrinkle in Time" once seemed less the stuff of fiction and more a certainty just beyond our grasp.
In her book “The Possibility of Life,” Green charts the course of search for fellowship in the universe and what it tells us about ourselves and what it means to be human.
You can also hear an interview with Jaime on Looking Up with host Dean Regas.
