On Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m., local music legend Bootsy Collins will talk with Freekbass about the new album on Facebook Live.

Their conversation (split into 2 parts) include subjects like the “popping sound on the bass,” his bass-playing techniques, why he doesn’t have a guitarist in the band, photo shoots, endorsement of a new line of basses & a trip to New Zealand to record a video for it, why he plays a 4-string bass, and Questlove.

Lots of local concerts leading up to the 4th of July holiday next week including ones at the Hilton Netherland Plaza, the Cincinnati Art Museum, Washington Park, and in Franklin, Ohio.

Beginning June 5th at Noon, Radio Artifact, a local independent radio station based in Northside that showcases the talented musicians that perform in Cincinnati, will be broadcast on 91.7 WVXU HD-2.
