Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri in Beirut announced al-the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. Estimates are that about 150 Lebanese had been killed in the fighting and more than 400 wounded. Hafez Assad in Damascus said the ceasefire was not substitute of peace.
