Golf Club, Gay Members in Dispute Over Partner Benefits

An Atlanta golf club's conflict with two of its gay members over spousal benefits for their partners is pitting a gay-friendly city against a conservative state. A city anti-discrimination ordinance passed in 2000 protects domestic partners, but a state legislator says that violates a new constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.
