Hey, gang, let'?s put on a show! Many of us, at some point in our lives, dream of becoming a Broadway or Hollywood star. But theater programs designed for children and teens offer them a variety of benefits and skills, including self-confidence, teamwork, creativity and discipline, that will prove useful even for those who don?'t plan a career in theater or movies.
Here to discuss theater programs for kids are Jason Burgess, theatre director and teacher with Fort Thomas Independent Schools and director of the Commonwealth Artists Summer Theatre (C.A.S.T.); and Tim Perrino, founder and creative director of Cincinnati Landmark Production's? Cincinnati Young People?'s Theatre.
C.A.S.T. will present ?Ragtime? the weekends of July 17 and July 24 at the Highland High School Performing Arts Center. For more information, click here.
