The new, and ever-changing, relationship between PR and journalism

  The world of journalism and public relations has changed dramatically during the last two decades, mainly due to the rise of the internet and 24/7 cable news outlets. Here to share their thoughts on the rapidly-changing landscape of PR and journalism are Carrie Phillippi, Public Relations director with Copperfox Marketing; Robert Pasquinucci, UC?s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences director of Marketing and Publications, and Michael Perry, counselor and vice president of Content Strategy for Vehr Communications. The Cincinnati Society of Professional Journalists and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America are holding a joint panel discussion on August 28 to explore the changing role of media and public relations.
