On April 18, join us as The Voice of Black Cincinnati presents a Whitfield Lovell: Passages Curator’s Conversation at the Cincinnati Art Museum, commencing from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Guests are warmly invited to partake in the free festivities. Up to 75 attendees will be treated to exclusive gift bags with exciting prizes from sponsors.

About Julie Aronson, PhD
Dr. Julie Aronson has been Curator of American Paintings, Sculpture, and Drawings at the Cincinnati Art Museum since 1999. She earned her BA in art history from Brandeis University, MA from Williams College, and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. Dr. Aronson has published and lectured on topics ranging from New England folk portraiture to painters and sculptors of the Cincinnati region.

At the Cincinnati Art Museum, she collaborated with Marjorie E. Wieseman to curate the exhibition Perfect Likeness: European and American Portrait Miniatures from the Cincinnati Art Museum (2006) with its landmark catalog. Dr. Aronson was on the curatorial team that produced the permanent collection display The Cincinnati Wing: The Story of Art in the Queen City and edited and co-authored the companion publication.

Parking
Parking is free in Museum lots, and accessible parking is available. The front entrance allows wheelchair and stroller entry. Bike Racks are available outside the Main Entrance of the Art Museum. Arrive using Cincinnati METRO.
