If you're looking for a fun and unique autumn activity, come to our Pumpkin Blow! With help from our professional glassblowers and at t $55 per person, you will get to make your own pumpkin from hot molten glass! Everyone must be 5 years or older to participate. It's scheduled in 30 minute increments per person and reservations are required. Payment is also required at scheduling. Pumpkins will be ready for pickup in 7 days and shipping is also available. Experience the wonder that is glass art this fall season with your loved ones!

Step into the pages of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House series. Make calling cards, cook with Ma, grind seed wheat, do pioneer laundry, and enjoy music and dance. For the first time ever, Myers Schoolhouse will open its doors for an immersive pioneer school experience. This event is perfect for history buffs, bonnet heads, homeschoolers, and people who love to travel back in time!

Pre-register online for $6 per person ages 4 and up. The pre-registration deadline is August 1st. Day-of admission is $8 per person. Heritage Village Museum members and children ages 3 and under are free. Visit our website for more information

Every year, the Campbell County Public Library hosts the Spotlight Series to highlight local and regional history through engaging presentations from local speakers. All talks will be at 7 pm at our Newport Branch on their respective dates.

This year, our first speaker is Dr. Daniel Gifford, author and public historian, who will lay the foundation for the series with a talk on his new book, "Benefactors of Posterity: The Founding Era of the Filson Historical Society 1884-1899".

The Filson Historical Society dedicates a variety of resources to enhance adult education through the preservation of the significant history and culture of the Kentucky and Ohio Valley area. Gifford’s book and presentation will discuss the triumphs and pitfalls it has faced since its foundation in 1884.

Bombs Away! Comedy and Commonwealth Comedy Club are proud to present the Crosstown Comedy Festival, a comedy contest and celebration of the best comedians from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, and across the country to compete to win the Festival. Good Cop/ Rad Cop is a musical-comedy duo from Atlanta, Georgia. With fast banter and high-energy, barn burning performances, they leave audiences on their feet singing and laughing. Armed with nothing but a guitar and a few kazoos, comedians Dave Hannah and Ryan Darling sing, scream, and harmonize their way into the hearts of every crowd, with absurd and often poignant songs influenced by their love of country, punk and doo-wop.

Commonwealth Comedy Club (formerly Commonwealth Sanctuary) is Cincinnati’s home for exquisitely curated live entertainment. Each week we bring you hilarious stand-up comedians, intimate concerts, unique theater productions, live podcast recordings, and so much more.

Commonwealth Comedy Club is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews.

We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as many canned drinks, including cocktails. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as well as a complete broadcast-quality video system for recording events and live podcasts. We are exclusively partnered with Third Rule Media to produce our recorded content.
