STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHERS’ SHOWCASE

There is something for everyone to enjoy in this performance, which features six-to-eight original works created by the next generation of choreographers from CCM Dance. Students take extra time in their already packed schedules to create works of joyful and thought-provoking dance.

Starring former Seinfeld writer Pat Hazell, The Wonder Bread Years is a fast-paced, hilarious production that gracefully walks the line between standup and theater. From sitting at the kids' table to riding in the way, way back of the Country Squire Wagon, The Wonder Bread Years will be the funniest trip down memory lane you’ve ever taken.

Showtime once declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. His 30 years of experience as a writer, producer, and director have made him a go-to guy for new American theater. Pat Hazell is one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld, a veteran of The Tonight Show, a critically acclaimed playwright, and a contributing commentator to National Public Radio. He is recognized for his genuinely funny Americana humor and his salute to nostalgia.

The Under One Roof Sukkah Art Exhibit is displayed in a temporary sukkah in the Mayerson JCC courtyard from October 7 – 23. During the fall display dates, a variety of events take place to celebrate community, art, and conversation. Contribute to the annual Under One Roof community art exhibit by being a part of the art, creating and contributing artwork designed by your organization, group, or individually.

Multimedia panels from nearly fifty community participants exploring this year’s theme, Unity, will be highlighted.

Under One Roof is made possible by presenting partner Rockwern Charitable Foundation. This program is funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati.

*Sukkot is the Jewish festival giving thanks for the fall harvest. It also commemorates the 40 years of the Israelites wandering in the desert after Sinai. It is also the Hebrew word for the temporary structures built to celebrate the holiday.

With help from our professional glassblowers and at t $55 per person, you will get to make your own pumpkin from hot molten glass! Everyone must be 5 years or older to participate. It's scheduled in 30 minute increments per person and reservations are required. Payment is also required at scheduling. Pumpkins will be ready for pickup in 7 days and shipping is also available. Experience the wonder that is glass art this fall season with your loved ones!

A Halloween shopping & bar crawl featuring themed drinks, eerie shopping specials, tarot readings, and a costume contest. Grab a witchy cocktail and enjoy a night of spooky fun at The MAC!

6-10 p.m. (Entrance gate closes at 9 p.m.)

Heritage Village Museum will transform into a Haunted Village for a family-friendly, slight-fright event. Trick-or-treat through the Village meeting ghosts, witches, a fortune teller, and the galloping ghoul along the way. Enjoy balloon art, games, face painting, a haunted house, the spooky trail, and more! There will be concessions available for purchase.

Advance online ticketing is $12 per person through October 3. Admission at the gate is $15 per person. Museum members and children under two are free and do not require a ticket.
