The fate of polar bears is directly linked to their habitat, which is slowly shrinking as the result of climate change. Dr. Ian Stirling, research science emeritus from the University of Alberta and currently working with Environment Canada on climate change awareness and legislative efforts to protect these ecosystems, joins Thane Maynard with an update on the polar ice cap and the efforts of Environment Canada.
