The Forest Unseen

David Haskell, a professor of biology at the University of the South, has written The Forest Unseen: A Year's Watch in Nature, which details his almost daily visits to a one square meter patch of an old-growth Tennessee forest in order to trace the daily changes, and the comings and goings of the seasons, wildlife and nature. The author joins Thane Maynard to talk about this dedicated effort to share the wonders of nature in a very real way.
